USRowing Youth Nationals 2015
The Florida sun wasn't all that heated up the race course at the 2015 Youth National Championships held June 12-14, 2015. It was the first time a youth national championship was held at Nathan Benderson Park, the new world-class rowing venue in Sarasota-Bradenton.
Approximately 1,500 athletes competing in more than 350 qualifying crews, representing some 150 teams from across the country came together to crown national champions in 18 events.
To cap off the weekend, USRowing hosted an Olympic Day event, giving young rowers the opportunity to meet and take photos with athletes who have competed at the highest level of the sport.
