STRENGTH

Built from the same material used in stealth bombers, Formula-1 race cars, and America’s Cup racing yachts, Resolute’s shells are made to last. Their unique design and heat-cured, pre-preg carbon construction makes them the most durable on the market. The carbon fiber is pre-impregnated with resin, and an exclusive heat-curing technology ensures every inch of shell has the optimal balance of fiber to resin. And Resolute’s unique monocoque construction eliminates the need for an internal framework. The result: A lightning fast boat that can take lots of punishment.

STEALTH

From the very beginning, our goal has been to create the optimum hydrodynamic shape, reducing wetted-surface and drag while increasing stiffness, speed, and stability. Resolute’s hull shape is slightly shorter and narrower than other shells, with less wetted surface area than its closest competitor. Small reductions in wetted surface relate directly to a significant reduction in overall drag and therefore increased speed.

SPEED

In the ergonomics of rowing stiffness is the name of the game: The more stiff and rigid the hull, the less twisting and flexing will occur in the boat. Resolute has the stiffest boats on the market which efficiently direct all the rowers’ force into moving the boat forward. If you’re not racing a Resolute, you’re wasting precious energy and power.

ENDURANCE

It’s a simple equation: The less time and money you have to spend on repairs, the more you can spend on training, racing, and winning. While most boats have up to 56 load-bearing secondary bonded parts, the Resolute Z has only one: The deck. With no joints to wear down and fewer parts to loosen, our shells maintain the same stiffness through years of rigorous racing and training.
