Providence Rowing Camp has just launched a new website that you should check out!  www.providencerowingcamp.com It has all the latest and greatest details of their upcoming rowing camp  this July 24th - 28th.

RESOLUTE RACING SHELLS AND PROVIDENCE ROWING CAMPS ANNOUNCE THE DATES FOR THE ROWING CAMPS AT BROWN UNIVERSITY

Resolute Racing Shells is proud to announce our sponsorship of the Providence Rowing Camps at Brown University.

 

The 5 day/4 night sweep camps occur July 24 – 28th, 2011 and will be held at the Hunter S. Marston Boat House on the Seekonk River in Providence, RI. The camp will focus on technique and racing skills for boys and girls ages 14 to 18 at all experience levels as well as providing an introduction to life as a college student-athlete.



As rowers and boat designers ourselves, we have always been deeply involved with the rowing community. Resolute is especially excited to help nurture the next generation of rowers. That's why we’ve partnered with the Providence Rowing Camps at Brown University, a top-notch training site that includes state-of-the art equipment, an indoor rowing tank, and a highly qualified coaching staff primarily hailing from Brown University. Judah Rome, Camp Co-Director, said: “We are very excited to be working with Resolute for our camp.  We are sure that their boats will help make the Providence Rowing Camp a great success.  We anticipate a well attended camp that will help high school rowers of all abilities improve physically and technically while having a lot of fun.”

 

 

Camp Features include:

  • Two rowing sessions per day
  • Off-the-water technique work on the erg and in the indoor rowing tank
  • Lecture series “Preparing to be a Collegiate Student-Athlete”
  • Coaching by top level coaches from Brown University
  • All campers row in a Resolute Racing Shell
  • Non-rowing activities such as trips to the Brown campus green and movie-night
  • Camp T-shirts

PNRA RESOLUTE SUMMER CAMPS 2010

Resolute Racing Shells is proud to announce our sponsorship of two Summer Rowing Camps at the Princeton National Rowing Association.

The sessions occur July 18-23 and August 1-6, 2010 and are held at the beautiful Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center on Mercer Lake in Princeton Jct., NJ.  The camps offer exciting opportunities for experienced high school rowers, both boys and girls, by providing superior instruction from a top level coaching roster and offering an exciting line up of speakers and seminar instructors from the most recognized names in the rowing community.



The Rowing Camps are the result of Resolute’s commitment and passion for the sport. As rowers and boat designers ourselves, we have always been deeply involved with the rowing community. Resolute is especially excited to help nurture the next generation of rowers. That's why we’ve partnered with the Princeton National Rowing Association, a world-class training site and racing venue that includes state-of-the art equipment, courses, and workout facilities.

Camp Features include:

  • Two rowing sessions per day
  • Off-the-water technique work on the erg
  • Strength Training session with US Strength Coach Bob Kaehler
  • One coach per boat, guaranteeing daily individual instruction
  • Speaker series with National Team coaches and athletes
  • Special coxswain instruction with current and former National Team coxswain
  • All campers row in a Resolute Racing Shell
  • Three meals a day at the Peddie School
  • Camp T-shirts
